Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the process take?
Once we receive your knives, turnaround is 3 to 5 business days. Including shipping, expect your knives back within 7 to 10 business days total.
How should I pack my knives?
Please wrap your knives to cover the blade and package securely in a box, not an envelope. We ask that you ship in a box no larger than a Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box from USPS so we're able to easily receive your order. Finally, we also ask that you clean knives before shipping for the safety of our sharpeners.
Is shipping covered?
You ship to us at your own cost. We cover return shipping via USPS Priority Mail. For free boxes to ship, please check out the USPS website linked here.
What sharpening methods do you use?
We use a combination of whetstones, belt grinders, and stropping - ultimately selecting the best approach for the steel type and design of each knife.
